Default Car overheats

So i drove to the race track. Made a couple passes and when i was about to make my 3rd pass, steam started pouring from my engine. I drove to a spot and shut it off. After some time, I open the reservior cap and it was dry i put 3 jugs of anti-freeze in it. I started it up and the thermostat is kicking on and off so water is flowing. No leaks too. I did notice that my fan will not turn on at all even when i put the a/c on. I drove it home and it did fine, since it was all highway. What would cause the fan from not coming on? When i was sitting in my car with it on at the track i was hearing some grinding noise coming from the engine bay. By the time i got to look at it, it had stopping i smelled something funny, like brakes or burnt rubber.
I recently did charge my a/c again since i had a line to the condenser come loose.
Also I was running a 13.4 @ 102-103MPH will only 5-6lbs of boost . So that is mess up too or could it be related to the radiator? idk Pretty crappy day

Default You need to check on your fan fuses!

Here's the fan circuit diagram for your car. Make sure you view the diagram well. More than likely your 50 amp fuse has blown. Good luck. Hope this helps. Let us know how things turn out and if you need more help, Tommy,

So yes the 50amp fuse was blown. Now is that becuase the fan is done or the a/c compressor? When we charge the a/c high and low side be a certified machinic, we had to jump the compressor to make it cycle and we could hear the fan kick on, along with the compressor every minute. I am just try to figure out what i need to do to fix it. I am at work all day and i wont get to look at it till sunday.
My boost is now back up to 10psi too, when on the highway.

I put a new fuse in today and the fan is making a horrible noise and white/silver crap is flying out of it. Autozone want $197 for a new one and AM wants $200 for a performance dual fan set up.

It seems alot of people are having problems with their fan motors, or fan blades. Wonder if it is another bad design by the Ford Motor Company? Glad to be of some help. Good to hear you resolved your problem, Tommy.

I have notice that too and at the track also. My car only has 35k on it. I was going to go with an aftermarket fan but i found a stock replacement for it for $70 @ rockauto w/ a 180 degree stat. The car is staying cool with 80% highway and 20% city. I think it only overheated becuase i was doing massive burn outs and beating on it.
