That's true except for the classes restricted to stick transmissions. I saw no MGW's in those cars but the car show was full of them. This should tell you something. BTW, I've tried the MGW in several of my friends cars and found them to be very quiet but somewhat too"notchy" for my taste.
I've been told that the MGW is the new school, smooth shifting kinda shifter whereas other ones like Hursts are the old school, notchy but positive engagement types...
