I was quoted the same thing for mine. I dont know what trans my 96 had in it but it bit the dust at 130k.

I do some road racing in my stang so the 5 speed was the way to go for my application

Nice, I wish there was anywhere to race around here, my car would be road race oriented if there was.

i have a choice where to go racing. I can go 15 miles down the road to go to Edgewater Drag strip. 30 miles to River Downs horse track for auto x in the parking lot once a month. Or I could drive 60 some miles to Carmel IN to a road course up there.

I am not running coil overs on my car lol. I have the FRPP handling kit and it rocks. Gonna put a panhard bar on it and maybe a torque arm later on

O nice, ive got eibach sportlines and bilsteins and it handles pretty good, I jsut feel like it would be a lot better with coils and some sway bars maybe

I go up there pretty often. Was supposed to go last night, but had a change of plans. There is a blue older GT350 up there that runs some crazy *** numbers.

the track there blows though. I never could get anything to hookup and the track is rough and not well taken care of. I know the car your talking about though.

hey i have a 98 mustang gt with a auto and i am gonna go standard tranny within this year will i need a new ecm? and correct me if im wrong but doesnt the standar version of my car have a t-45?
