Okay so along with my a/c just not wanting to work, when I put my car in neutral to slow down and release the clutch i occasionally get a really strong smell of I guess gas or oil some kind of oil product nonsense. Also it sounds like my HVAC system is running constantly around the speedo cluster when its all off anyone know whats going on?

 

Check all the vacuum lines in the car and under the hood.

 

The mechanic last time checked all the lines for leaks couldn't find a leak and after just driving it again the gasoline smell is definitely coming from the hvac vents.
