Sounds like a fuel pressure problem to me, maybe change out your fuel filter, or check the sending unit? It seems like its losing pressure at the fuel rails after it's parked for a long period of time. Try this, next morning you go out to start it, turn the key to the on position, so the fuel pump turns on, then cycle it back off. Do this a few times, then try to start it. See if it stays running then.

thats a good idea! I turn the key once just to feed it gas real quik and fire it up.
Your gonna hear the fuel pump if you're in your garage or something. Like devongraver said, turn the key several times without fireing up the motor, I'd say about 3 and it should fire up fine.

The missing while you are driving could definitely be a clogged filter, but it can be a number of things. The fact that it goes away once the motor warms up,...im just not sure about. It it was your COPs, it would be the opposite, it would run worse as it heated up. Could be plugs though too, jeez it could be a combination of several things. Just take it one step at a time, so you can rule out different things.

Hmm sounds like the car is having issues while its in closed loop (err thats the first one right? lol) anyways the computer uses pre mapped values until the car hits operating temperature, then it will hit open loop and start adjusting and tweaking things, seems like once you hit that point your back on your feet again.

when the car is cold it thinks like a dodge...

If MAF reads this, and throttle is here, inject X fuel.

when it heats up, it will use the readings off of other sensors to better balance that equation.

if MAF reads this, throttle is here, o2 sensor reads this, and temp is this, adjust fuel like so...

get where Im coming from?

I would check your key sensors for something out of place, and I would pay a lot of attention to the temp sensor, it does a lot more then you think, and has a big impact on things like misfires.

How are your radiator hoses? and whats the thermostat housing look like? noticed any yellow spots in your engine bay lately? =D ionno my brain works different, just trying to help.
