It's working just great...I love it. My transmission has been alittle notchy though ever since I've owned the car....I am gonna have a try at changing the fluid again and go from there.

My T-3650 was always a bit notchy as well and just figured it was somewhat inhearant in the model

Glad you like it and got all the little issues resolved

Hey Jazzer, thanks for the advice. I went ahead and ordered the Steeda bushings. I want things done the right way, the first time. I also ordered Mobile 1 ATF, that I will do while I am in there.

I will post of picture when I get it installed, as requested.

YW

Did you notice there were two sets of bushings?

One set is for the small stock bolts from your Ford OEM shifter and the other bushings have larger holes for standard.... 3/8" bolts? Anyway, confirm you ordered the correct ones.

Sorry it took so long to post the picture, but I have been crazy busy. It came with the white ball, which looks great too, but I ordered the black with the white logo on it. My car is pretty much black and grey which I am trying to stick with. Unfortunately the camera distorts all the colors in the interior. It makes everything look dirty and different colors, but in reality everything looks new, the boot doesnt look dirty, my floormats dont look worn, and all the greys dont look different. This one bolts directly to the stock shifter. The only thing I did is add some locktite to it, even though it comes with locking washers. Without the big factory rubber bushing it made the shifts so much more crisp. Not sloppy now. I wanted the classic look and didnt like the factory boot with it. I went with the old school boot which has been getting alot of compliments from the Muscle car crowd and the Stangheads. I didnt need the steeda bushings but I will keep them, so if I ever go back to a stock shifter I can keep the nice firm feel I get with this shifter.

The stick looks great. I did the same thing with my car. STS is on the list of mods, but for the moment I am just rocking the hurst stick.

If I could make a suggestion though, it would be to use the stock leather boot instead of the rectangular rubber boot. Here is a pic of mine.

Either way...good job dude.

Hmmm, yours is a different style. Is that for the older fox bodies or was that for the 3650? I had the boot on it at first, but think the boot looks like poo with the oldschool shifters. It just doesnt go together correctly, IMO. I wanted the full old school look. If I didnt go that route, and was going to keep my boot I would have just thrown on a Bullitt shifter ****.

Hey where did you get that chrome stick and ****? I've been thinking about getting one for my Hurst short throw that is the style like yours but i'm not sure if it's the same one cause I'd prefer it to be a tad bit shorter.

Thanks
