Ever since I got my car the ABS light has been on along with the traction control light. I tried having my buddy scan it with with a Snap-on scanner and it couldint even read anything in the abs system. Like the computer wouldn't let him in. His card for the scanner only goes up to a 2000 ford but it's never stopped him from scanning cars newer then mine. Has anyone else had this problem or know what it could be?

 

If he cant even read it id guess the abs module is bad,but you should start out with the little things first. Clean the abs wheel sensors with brake cleaner, and clean off the gear looking thing.
