I've got 126,000 miles on mine. The last 46,000 were supercharged. Actual repairs (improvements and routine maintenance don't count). Brake rotors, pads and front calipers. One COP went out. One front wheel bearing started making noises so I replaced the assembly. After going through some really deep water the MAF got contaminated and had to be cleaned. I can't remember anything else.

I seem to be buying a lot of tires. I told my wife I really don't know why the back tires wear out faster than the front.

i put less than 10k on my car since ive owned it, and most of those problems happened within 2k

if you can cause that much havoc on a car in 2k miles, it means there is something wrong with how the car was made

i went over every bit of maintenance and repair possible after i bought the car, and i got it into decent shape...it just kept breaking

the guy asked how reliable they are, and i told him my experience...nowhere did i say that every 2v is a piece of ****, just said that i had a TON of problem with mine....i drive the hell out of my car, but i am very strict on taking care of it and maintaining it....i dont know how it was treated during the first 150k miles of its life, but dont suggest that its my fault all that **** broke when i barely even got to drive my car since ive owned it

Besides the trans....I never have heard of any problems, unless it was not taken care of......sounds like you just got the very very very short end of the stick!

The 4.6, in stock form, is one of the most reliable engines ever made. It was recently added to the 10 best, (i believe of all time). But for a performance motor, my opinion is far less positive.
