But being a convertible, I'm not going to notice the noise issue.
Well I'm not sure if it's the long tube headers or what... but my car always feels like I have full heat on all the time.

Do you have the rubber boot that goes on the over the short throw shifter?
Did you put a gasket on when you put your short throw shifter on? Both of those can help keep Trans noise out and heat

odd.... and toasty. I really have no damn clue why the car does it. The worst part is, I blew up my AC line (rubbing on the header) a few years ago and still haven't fixed it. So sitting in traffic on a hot day is almost unbearable.

my 99 got real hot on the floorboards and such... my 04 doesn't get hot at all (unless I get on it pretty good, and then I can almost instantly feel the heat). I think some cars just have better insulation jobs then others.

I'm waiting to dynomat the 03 till her exhaust, cams & blower start to rattle her teeth so much she almost can't stand it anymore. Until then I doubt I could ever convince her of the necessity, lol. We get dynomat for cost to, which will be nice. That crap is is expensive.
