couple simple questions
New guy to this forum but not to forums in general. I have owned a 93 and 94 Tbird and now own a 95 Mark 8. Im picking up a 04 GT 4th Ann. 5 spd tonight or this weekend. this seems like a lowkey place where people arent all snobby and d!cks just becasue they drive a mustang which is why i joined here.
Got couple questions as this will be my first stang. Will the c16" crown vic/grand marquis black teel rims fit? looking to use them for winter rims. i know the bolt pattern should work but as far as offset...
also im getting the car with a Diablo hand tuner but also have a locked XCal2 from my bothers old car. what you guys perfer to use? i would gues SCT since they seem to be more common among speed shops.
ill be sure to get pics up when i get her in the driveway
look forward to talking with you guys

Welcome to the forum Dean!
RE: SCT
This is one of the best tuners money can buy. Many shops use them and the interface is very easy to use. However, there's nothing wrong with the Diablosport tuner either.
RE: Crown Vic Wheels
The wheels will bolt up to the car, but you have to be careful with the backspacing and offset. I'm not sure what the C16 designation is, but the 2nd generation 1998+ ones should fit fine.

ill prob swing by some junk yards and see what i can grab for rims. you know any steel rims for other cars you KNOW will fit? im assuming in the 16" size.
dont want to got j/y and buy rims only to find out the offset is wrong when tires get put on them

Test fit the wheel before mounting a tire on it. You can also measure the backspacing of your current wheels and go from there.
As far as steel wheels that fit- also check out some of the Ranger, B-series, Explorer and Mountaineer wheels.

i looked on tire rack and some other wheel websites and no one offers a 16" rim so i would test fit before you buy tires or just get some nice wheels and use the current ones as winter wheels or just go find some used mustang wheels for the winter
