Ok so I am waiting to hear back from a guy who is going to hopefully sell me his Vortech v1 t-trim. However, I have come to find another head unit on ebay for $700 (right now), but it is a v2.

My question is this, If I have all the necessary mounting and discharge/intake assembly that I bought off superchargersonline for the Vortech V-1, can I use those same pieces, but instead of putting a v1, I use a v2?

Simple answer, yes.

 

and what about all the air-intake/discharge assemblies, will they mount up as well?

 

yup they have the same size inlet diameter. if you're going to go for big power later on, go for the t-trim

 

i thought you already bought a blower?

 

no I have all the mounting stuff I need. I'm just waiting for a deal to come up on a head unit and grab it.

all the mounting hardware, intake, etc was bought FOR plans on finding a v1. I was just curious if the v2 would work with the same parts. just weighing my options. Its a serious purchases haha
