i was drunk when i posted that woops i meant to ask which motor would u rather have out of the two and keep it NA or supercharge it cuz i dont think its to safe to supercharge the mach 1 without changing internals.

Its not. Thats why most Fbodys prefer NOS over FI because their compression ratio is to high.

the mach 1 block is a brand new 6 bolt main casting. it's one of if not the stongest aluminum block ford has ever made. theres a guy making 1000 crank hp with a stock block and crank. the similarites to the 99/01 cobra engine design are basically dimensions, engine accesory mounting locations.. etc. like pretty much all mod motors esxcept the terminator engine, it has powder coated rods and hyperuetectic pistons. there are also differences in the intake tract (obviously, with the shaker hood design being functional) and slightly different cams. being a modular engine of course, you can swap the parts like any other.


i'm taking my car to the shop tommorow for my new shortblock, wich happens to be a mach 1 block. so, i'll have a stock mach 1 bottom end with my 01 PI heads on, making between 11.5:1 and 12:1 compression, with an 01 manifold, in a 98 GT.

YES!! if you can find one, jump on it. i got mine for 850 shipped, with crank, pistons rods in it, clutch flywheel and oil pump. $850 shipped.
