hey i gotta funny sound comin from under my car. it seems like its comin from up in the header area. sounds like somethings loose, i was on the eway and hit something and i think it might of done something. i hear it when i step on the gas and when i shift. do you think it could be cuz somethings loose or broken?

You might have a loose header bolt. How recently did you get your LT's installed? Heat can cause the bolts to get loosened from expanding and contracting, or a "jolt" (hit from something as you were describing). My advice is check your header bolts....

PS.....I think I have the same problem, I'm just too lazy to figure it out.

Its a good possibility it's a loose header bolt. I just had the same problem. My whole exhaust was loose on the driver's side. The pipe was about to fall off the H-pipe it was so loose.

i think it might be that, i just dont have the time to get to it, im at a tech school in the navy and its hard to get out and look at it, all i know is its loud when im goin by like a wall, u know how the enclosement kind of amplifies sound. i dont think it could be anything cracked or have a hole in it. i just need a shop to get to, i dont have any tools. i got my headers in april but i hit somthing hard at night when i was driving.

Is it making a jingling noise?

Mine clearly sounds like a bolt jingling with the washer or something.....

I'm hearing a new noise coming from the driver's side of my car too, it's a ticking noise and I can hear it when I accelerate pretty hard. I've been told it could be an exhaust leak... any other ideas?
