Is there anyway to tell if there has been a shift kit put on your car? Because if i remeber correctly i think the guy i bought my car from told me he has had one put on... but im not for sure...
& Also is a shift kit a good mod to do to an auto??? and what do they usually run with labor

They are definately worth it. Labor shouldnt be expensive but you want to make sure you have someone reputable do it... If i remember right they have to drill a hole in your tranny.

When i had it in my automatic GT i would scratch 3rd so hard with my 305 BFGs.

 

i want to get the transgo kit but dont have anyone to install it and i dont trust myself to do it lol
cant afford to screw up because its my DD

 

How much are they to get installed usually? Any1 know

 

ive had quotes from 120 to 200 to have it installed but i am gonna go ahead and try it myself. if i screw up i have a spare trans out of my other 03 gt
