stroker kit/ 4.6 to a 5.0
basically i've left a long trail of car parts from several cars on a couple back roads and spent many hours gaining experience from the real world and not a video game on how a car behaves under extreme conditions.
meaning i always broke my cars before i could get into tuning. therefore my tuning knowledge is limited but growing, so bear with me on this sh*t...
in order to up my 4.6 to a five oh i just need a stroker kit, yes?
advice on what kind i should get for this mod. (future plans for kenne bell)
and im upping to a 5.0 because this is america and because i can!
(if i have posted in the wrong area i will gladly copy and paste this sh*t where it belongs)

Yes, a stroker kit will get your 4.6 to 5.0, but a frpp big bore block would be a better choice since the bore is so small, If you just want to say you've got a 5.0 modular then the stroker is cheaper. I believe you'll see more gains with a big bore 5.0 modmotor over the 5.0 stroked modular 2v.

Hey whats up? So your a sea bee? Im an army engineer. Iv worked and trained with you guys. Good group of guys. Welcome to the forum. I looked up getting a stroker kit myself. From what iv found the gains from the kit are not much considering the cost. The stroker kit will get you to 5.0. I think iv even found a kit that gets you a little bigger then that too. If your looking to do to much more work though getting a new block will probably serve you better in the end though

so pretty much both you guys are advising a swap, wilco...
Hell yeah my SSG was on the nevy side for 20 years then went army reserve. Hes a crazy mother f*cker. haha.
Yeah when i was looking up stroker kits what i found is that the gains off them was very little. And if im not mistaken you will still need to get more internal parts later if you plan on getting above 400hp or so later.

yeah eventually after a couple more deployments im hoping to have enough money to bring it up to 500+ hp. it will be a complete waste of money and will not get me anywhere in life, but this thing called youth isn't gonna last forever...
see you can drop the 5.4l 2v motor directly into your car with almost zero modification, but the power is damn near the same as the 4.6l. bore is the same its just a longer stroke. doesnt make any more HP and only minimal torque for almost 1 liter bigger. probably not worth your money to do a stroker kit unless you just want to play around.
i'd just forge the bottom end instead of doing a stroker kit, then when you get your blower you can make serious power without worrying about the block at all.
