Same issue here.

I filled mine up like you did.

A permanent solution, however, would be to use a rubber grommet.

That's what I'm going to do.

The notable changes in mid-2001 were the integrated IAT sensor, the water pump change (long-shaft to short shaft), the change from 19 lb/h (orange) to 21 lb/h (pink) fuel injectors--and less noticeable, the change from the Tremec T-45 to the Tremec 3650 transmission.

However, they don't just throw a switch when mid-MY changes are made. Things are changed over a period of time and often vehicles made during that period are amalgams of some old and some new parts.

If you happen to get one of these it can sometimes take 2-3 trips to the store to get the correct part...

the first major difference is you are comparing 2 totally different cias. your car being a gt and the AM pic being a v6 i believe all of the v6 have the iat in them but not sure about the gt

It does, it's just built-in to the MAF sensor...

Well i just wanted a good picture showing the IAT. That was prob the best. And they're not "totally" different. They all have IAT (now that i know that)
