Thermostat info??
hey i was talking with some friends last night and they started talking about mustang thermostats bc there fox was running really friggen hot. And I mentioned something of my 01 GT going to a 180 or 160 degree one. What do you all think? What would it really do for me just help keep it alittle cooler? Whats the stock one at, isnt something like 260?
I brought the idea up b/c i run a hypertech programmer on my car b/c of the 4.10 gears and they said in there little pamphlet that it would be better if i go to a 180 or 160 degree and it would work better with the programmer and give like a couple hp (dont know if thats true) but i live in florida and it's hot as crap. So give me yalls advice.
