Default Notchy 3 gear

What does that mean? It is only notchy when its cold outside and go's away when the car warms up. And when I say cold we have been having lows in the 20s. I never have this problem in spring, summer or fall.

It means there's nothing wrong except that it's cold...

Yeah, they are grumpy. My T45's syncros grind like hell when they are cold.

My 2nd is notchy when it's cold. And if i REALLY bang the sh*t outta the gear and then go to drive normal, the gear i banged is usually notchy for a couple of minutes.. (not powershifting)

I would say the notchy when cold is normal though...

Every manual transmission car I've ever owned (a bunch in 45+ years--I've only owned 3 automatics) has had similar issues when cold. I had a '73 Mustang that had to sit and idle for 3-4 minutes before you could get it in any gear when it was below 20°F...

One night it was really cold (0 or lower) and my clutch pedal was really hard to push in, like pushing a piston through very viscous oil or something. Cold Throughout bearing?

My T45 does the same thing.
