Default Fuel issues

I have a svt focus fuel pump when I get to about a quarter tank and go around the a corner or off ramp the car bucks not getting fuel. Is there anything I can do about it besides a cobra gas tank. It gets real annoying and would like to be able to run it to E. Thanks

you need some sort of baffle or sumped tank. Either that or dont let the tank get that empty.

Is that really all I can do. Can a longer pickup tube be put on. Why is it that you can have that problem by changing pumps

Well i would say that the problem didnt arise from changing pumps... Do you have something done to the engine to need a focus pump?
What is happening is when you take sharp turns/launching hard/ect, the fuel is sloching to one side of the tank and the pump is cavitating. You could try a pprv delete. the pprv is the white(i think) valve that is on the suction line of the pump. However, from what i have heard/read, this is usually done to allow more flow. Most who do this were having hesitation issues when flooring it. removing this frees up the bottle neck and allows them to get the fuel they need. Mostly done on high hp cars... No clue as far as lengthening the suction line.... There was write up awhile back on how to make your own baffling system. I dont have the link, but hopefully someone with it will post it for you.
