if you got the money go for the 04, they have alot of interior trime pieces that look cool, plus its a 40 ann. edition.

well ill probably be keeping this mustang...im not sure yet. if i do keep this i wont care so much about the mileage and year. it all depends if im keeping this car. thanks for the info.

i was wondering the same thing,, i know that there are almost always some minor problems when a car goes under the knife for a change, but i thought that the mustang did quite well from 98-99 as far as reliability and integrity issues..

i personally would recommend which ever you can get for the cheapest and with the fewest miles. the difference you make up in price from a 99 to an 04 can be spent on making it look the same, or better, (or just cutting the bs and making it faster)

i would like to know some of these problems solved 3-4 years after the 99's came out.. thanks

I got my 04 for 21k brand new with a warranty =D .. Idk how much your willing to spend but I love my 40th

I know the 02's got a new alternator and tranny. I'm sure there's more though.
