I hear a knocking noise from the interior of my 99 4v i cant hear it from underneath or from the hood ... i thought it might be my throwout bearing again ..... its seems like a violent knock does anyone know what that could be?

 

does the sound go away when you press in the clutch pedal? i had a bad throwout bearing and it would chatter like hell until i pressed in the pedal. if it were the throwout bearing i would imagine you'd hear it from under the car though. mine was loud as hell when i'd let it idle and look underneath the car.
