So when i get it back im thinking 3.73, since i spend alot of my time driving distances(Work"Sales") 3.55 may be to hard on my 70mph commute time. An old buddy of mine used to work at Pyle Brothers in Baytown. He can help me with the install, Has a lift and everything. He's a bad ****, Much knowledge. But he's pretty busy these days.

Everything from the cost to gears.........Sound about right?
wouldnt a 3.55 be better on gas if ur turning less rpm? i am pretty sure u can give gearheads in arlington tx a call their doing 3.73s or 4.10 installed for 450!

Two things, A) they should be able to throw in any gear ratio you request, you may have to pay any price difference though. B) you say you are thinking 3.73 over 3.55 because it will be easier on you?? How do you figure that, the higher the ratio (numerically) the higher the RPM's to go the same speed and thus more fuel consumption and wear to the motor.

with a lower gear (higher numerically) ur around town driving gas mileage will get better because it takes less power from the engine to turn the wheels, so it will actually be about the same mpg u got before. mine went from 24 to 22 mpg
