Default fuel rail part number help

i have a question regarding some fuel rails i got off a 2003 cobra. i am going to be using them on my MK VIII engine with 2001 C heads. i got them off corral for 30 bucks or so. the problem im having is not the fuel rails but the rubber/plastic connection between the two rails. the hose had a crack in it so i pulled it off the rails and then it snapped....my bad...so i dont want to buy new fuel rails. is there a way i can just buy the rubber connection. my ford part # is XR3Z-9F792-CG 040106b. XR3Z-9F792 CA and XR3Z-9F792-CG will also work. but i dont know where to get these. ford dealer so i can get stroked??

They sell fuel hose at autozone. Can you use it to patch it back together?

no i cant fix the hose it self. it snapped real bad. my main concern is with those bayonet fittings, as they stab into a material and dont let it pull back out. would a rubber 'fuel' hose be strong enough without having the inner plastic lining? im almost leaning towards buying another fuel rail used off ebay or somethin...

I have used the rubber hose on occasion. Just make sure you ask for the fuel rated hose. But you need a place to clamp it onto. Maybe cut back some of the rubber from the plastic tube and overlap the plastic then add a clamp. This should be a tight fit anyways. If not MPS autosalvage sells used fuel rails.
