What the best S/C is huh? well, imo there is not one s/c that is the best, rather its what type do you want for whatever application. Example: You got a centrifugal and positive displacement types and within positive displacement there 2 variations.

For centrifugal's (vortech, paxton, pro-charger) make most of their power high in the power band, while the positive displacement (roots/twin screw) make it in the lower to mid range (the 03 cobra uses a roots type).

There's alot of good info out there and alot of crap out there but below is a link which will go more into detail than me trying to explain it to you on the forums. The articles within this website are extremely helpful and taught me alot about s/c. Though i still am unable to afford one

PS: Scoll to the bottom right of the page. You'll see a section called superchargers A-Z. It's under messege forums.
