Default o2 sensor

got a cel so i pulled it off thinking the mil eliminator went bad but one off the heater wires was corroded away at the sensor. i tried soldering it back together but there is nothing to really solder it to on the sensor is this why im getting the cel or is it the mil eliminator went bad?

If a wire is corroded at the sensor, just replace it. Also, instead of soldering wires on an O2 sensor, it's actually better to crimp them.

There's also ways to test the O2 sensors. It involves hooking up a volt meter and reading measurement. Can't remember the exact method but you can google it. I did that and found out my passenger side was bad.
