Default novi budget put together. help me out

so today i picked up a novi 2000 head unit bracket for 01-04 stangs with belt.. only things missing is fuel pump, air filter, and intercooler and the pressure side of the oil line. was a deal for 980 in good condition!

questions goal is 425-450hp with my 02 gt.

current mods. accufab tb and plenum, cat back and o/r x pipe.

plan mods, headers, stage 1 or 2 blower cams afm power pipe and a universal intercooler.

my goal is to tune myself with some time and afr gauge and some know how.
anyone have experience with this????. im confident in my patience and learning curve.

what fuel pump would be best for budget and reliability? any write ups?

what maf? blow through or draw through? lightning?

what turner is most user able to help me tune this beast?

will the vortech oil feed line fit?

is the stock bypass valve going to support and inter-cooler?
thanks

Do you really want to do this yourself? tuning a car correctly takes a lot of know how

i wouldn't take it on unless i thought that i have the patience and knowledge to try it. i may change my mind the more research i do. but i would rather take time learn and research instead of just paying someone. i know its easier.

If you're gonna do your own tuning you might look into Sniper Tuning Software. It offers pretty much complete adjustability over the pcm's various parameters whereas SCT and Diablo are limited. Keep an eye out for CliffyK and maybe send him a pm, he knows a lot about the Sniper stuff and can probably help get you going in the right direction.

Nice buy! There is alot of stuff you will need to get now! The stock injectors won't fly now going to need 42's or better (up to you) spark plug change to a heat range cooler. You won't nessecerily need a new mass air meter diablo sells a MAFia which extends the voltage on your mass air meeter which will be good for quite alot of hp. If you can get your hands on a SVT ford focus fuel pump that would be best or just a 255lph fuel pump will work. You won't need the intercooler right away if you don't want to/can't afford it immediatley and the waste gate/bov should be fine. Some guys like the tweecer for tuneing the problem you will run into is that you won't be able to hear the detonation while tuning like you would be able to on a Dyno. Do you still have your stock bottom end in?
