Default Tubular K Member install question

Im about to get cracked on installing the tubular k member setup, my question is how importating is "squaring the k member". It seems alot of people that install em just bolt em up and thats that. Squaring it with the plumb bobs seems like a royal pain in the ****. Is there any other way to do it or any tricks?

Also assuming it is just bolted up, then taken to an alignment shop and you get it aligned in specs it should be fine anyway right?

Just push it back against the loosened frame bolts, then tighten. Your alignment shop will do any adjusting if need be. (I had the same question, then I called the company that made my Kmember.)

on my upr k member it doesnt really have any room for adjustment. I bolted it up and that was it. Its actually been awesome on the street for nearly 2 years

Same thing they said to me, fyi if you're using lowering springs along with the k member prepare for a huge drop and I suggest switching back to stock, because you will have close to zero wheel gap. I ran into this issue when I installed my QA1 k-member. They fail to tell you it will lower the car noticeably when you install the new k-member.

if you are really worried about the k member, use a sharpie marker to make an outline of where the one lined up at the corners.
