Default thrust washers??

alright im installing a forged assembly into a windsor. on each side of the #5 cap there are supposed to be "thrust washers" i only have three in the kit. i feel like that is right but its been so long since i got it back from the machinist i dont remember if there should be four?? two are exactly the same and one is distinctly different.

help much appreciated... i could have the bottom end rebuilt already if this wasnt slowing me down.

They come in different thicknesses to minimize crankshaft endplay. You need to use a dial indicator on the snout of a torqued in crankshaft to check properly. Use the appropriate thrust washer to get endplay into spec.

you sure about that??... if that was true, then once you torque the crank down, and find there is too much play. you will have to change the washer, which means un-torquing the torque to yield bolts....

besides... they are the same size....two are identical and one is different
