Question Performance mods reliability questions

Hey all,

Well I have a few places that will do the upgrades and tuning ion my car, and I will prolly schedule it in 2-3 weeks, but I do have some misgivings about boosting the car. My main concern is reliability. I'm afraid that after cams, intercooler, manifold (PI), blower, that reliability will suffer.

I want to be able to get in the car and drive 5 hours straight to go visit my daughter, without having to worry about breakdowns. I realize there are alot of daily drivers with vortecs on them, but are they ok for long distance driving?

Am I worrying for no reason or will ther be an issue? Any replys welcome

Thanks

Shawn

It's all in the tuning and how much hp & tq you're pushing. Don't get crazy with either, and it will be fine for reliability and long distance drives.
