Default 2001 v6, spun rod bearing? what is this noise?

So i have a 2001 ford mustang, its a v6, performance red. Not long ago it started making a rattling noise, it sounds like it's coming from the front of the engine like timing chains or something, but i think it might have a spun rod bearing.

Anybody know what this engine noise might be? Help me find out before i tear out my engine. Any help is greatly appreciated

This is one of the best rod knock videos I've seen--actually I mean heard, the audio shows how subtle it can be at idle, and the strong knock-knock-knock when decelerating.

bad big-end bearing

It's a '97 Corvette but most engines with "spun" or other wise bad rod bearings sound like this...

Oh man that sound makes me cringgggge. Sounds sooo much like my first car I got "given" to me. Was a Dodge Intrepid that already hade a major knock and I used to beat the **** out of that car just knowing it was gonna go kaboom but I wanted it to so my parents would tell me I needed to get my own car

Sure enough I was coming off an exit onto the highway and gave it some healthy gas and it blew the hell up haha that was kinda fun. Car started shaking like no other and the sound was crazy heh. How in the hell do you ruin a vette motor like that?

also i noticed i posted in the 4.6 forum even though it was a v6, ive been surfing on here without posting for a while, i have a 97 gt, pi swapped, and a 2000 gt, 5.4 swapped. did them both myself. so if the mods can move this, i'd appreciate it

I am no expert, but this sounds alot like a cylinder head issue. That "click" happens pretty fast and crisp to be a rod. Sounds more like a valve issue to me.
