Hey guys. Chipped my GT a few months ago and have noticed a few oddities since then (whether or not they're related to the actual mod is why I'm here )

So while accelerating, I'll notice my parking brake light comes on randomly, then will turn off. This will happen if I shift at normal speeds, WOT, whatever... A few Google searches have said that generically, cars will do this if there's low brake fluid. Now, I know my pads are gettin kinda old, so I can imagine that combined with more fluid needed to slow the car down could trigger this as well. Sound feasible or is it a chip issue?

On a side note, I was a member here yearssssss ago (2005) before the switch to vBulletin. Had to re-register, etc. I'm sure this was already touched on but there's no way to get my permissions reinstated ASAP, right? I'll need to hit that 50 post count again? There's a few items for sale and I WTB and obviously the lack of permissions is killin me.

probably your brake fluid. my last stang did the same thing when the brakes started wearing down.
