Ah, missed that. What gear are you planning on? If you plan on going FI I wouldn't get 4.10's. They were awesome when I was NA, but I eat through the gears too fast with a blower now.

you should be perfect running a procharger with 4.10s....im on 4.10s with a vortech and once i launch off my stall im right at boost. im thinking about stepping up to a 4.56 now or going all out to a 4.88 but i dont think a c4 will make it to the end of the track without running outta gear

woah now buddy, this is a DD im talkin bout here. i dont have time to shift three times thru a stoplight lol. and to answer the other guy, i'm planning on gettin 3.73's, just bc im pretty confident i do want a SC somewhere down the line, just not sure when. i still wanna accomplish 12s NA, and realize that will be more difficult with 3.73s than 4.10s, but its a challenge im willin to take on

I have a 5 spd and I'm damn near 6k at the quarter. I'd much rather have 3.90's to tell you the truth, but I've heard they wine like heck, and my 4.10s have almost non-existant wine.

A few comments on some of the previous posts. You should be able to run 12's with no power adders and 3.73 gears if you lighten the car enough. The difference between 3.73 and 4.10's is not that much. You could run 4.10's and taller tires and still turn the same rpm at the end of the 1/4 mile. 3.90 gears do not whine anymore than 4.10 gears. 3.73 gears are slightly stronger than 4.10 gears.
