Default PI cams in NPI heads

Im almost 90% sure this can be done, someone tried to tell me it cant, so now i just want to check and make sure. Anyone ever attempted or know anything about it?

Yes it can be done,and there will be some decent gains for the cost,since you can get pi cams pretty cheap on ebay.

I had them in my pi heads and swapped the for comp cams, so were going to toss them in my buddies 97npi and hopefully itll make some power.

yea it can be done, but they are stock cams, so you really aren't going to gain much of anything.

Most definitely possible. That is why comp cams will fit 96-04 cars because cams are interchangeable on 4.6 and 5.4s. You, however, will not see any huge gains, but for free you will definitely not be disappointed.

10hp w/ alil notice in the idle too much to ask? I know the lift on the npi is .500 and on pi is .550 so thats a decent increase right?
