Hey guys i am planing on putting a 3.73 in my 00 gt i was wondering how it will change my gas millage? could you all help me with this please???

Gas mileage would obviously be decreased. lf the gears are numerically higher, you'll end up with faster acceleration, lower MPG, lower top speed and maybe lower traction.

Thanks stanglover. I want the better acceleration but i don't want to much of a loss in gas milliage! i drive this car every day to work and school so i need to keep it over at least 20 mpg highway. if i am not mistaken mine gets about 26 mpg highway right now.
