how is that possible,was it a maf that has couplings on both sides,only reason i ask is most maf bolt on one side and cone goes on the other so its hard to get it backwards.

yeah it bolted on one side with that adapter thing, so the filter could go on either side. i bolted the adapter to the maf then handed it to my buddy to mount up under the car, and didn't even think of him putting it on backwords. i guess i prolly should of checked. he had the filter strapped to the maf, and the piping strapped to the adapter.
