Ses light error code P0351
#11
Here's an update to my problem, I did move the plugs and the coils, and the error message is still at the same spot, i also pull the coil pack plug on spot A, and in fact the same one, with a different plug and coil , still makes no difference when unplugged. So is it my PCM nos that this test has been done? what is the technical name for pcm ?
The PCM won't have a clue what you did. You need to clear the original code first. However, I cannot make sense of the the rest of your statement here, can you try explaining what you did one more time please?

Makes sense, i did clear the code when i started the car. But what i did was , the front passenger side two (spark plugs & coils) I switched over the the driver side from two coils and spark plug. Make a long story short, I switched over 4 coils and 4 spark plugs, out of those four none of them have the same plug or coil on them. When I started the car I cleared the light. And noticed it was still idling funny and sounding funny. So i did the coil pack test by pulling off each pull and visually looking at the motor to see any change in idle. When I pull the front plug off the coil on passenger side all the way in the front, idle didn't change any. Same way it was before I swapped any around.

OK. with the car like it is now, disconnect the battery for 10 mins and reconnect it. Run the car and see if the code comes back. Then see what it is and if it has moved to a different location that is misfiring.

Well i disconnected the battery for a while then reconnected it, results are quite a bit odd, No SES light, its idling alot better than before, and after about 20 minutes of rough driving(trying to make the SES light come back on), no rough idling. What now? LMAO

I was actually hoping this would happen. You likely had some poor connections, and that was fixed when you swapped things around. By disconnecting the battery for a while, you are clearing the Keep Alive Memory and erasing the DTC codes and SES light. This makes the car "relearn" things, which will make it run funny for a bit and get better as it goes. You likely will have no issues for a while until one of the coils fails. Drive it and be happy lol.
