Has my clutch had enough?

Has my clutch had enough?
Well, the past few days, I've noticed that when my clutch engages, the rpms shoot up (i can also tell because my exhaust tone raises as normal); however, the engine seems to be lagging a little. Maybe it's just me, and everything is fine, but i've gotten used to the power of the car...but then again, maybe it's the clutch, too.
Is there an easy way to determine if it's the clutch? I did notice that when I pop it out, the car hooks instantly, which led me to beleive that all was well...but like I said, I have noticed that it doesnt seem to be picking up speed as well as it used to.
Does anyone have a recommendation on a good clutch? I need one capable of handling about 750 hp (i know thats a lot, but I want it to last when I get to 600 hp).
Thanks guys!

RE: Has my clutch had enough?
Get in third gear going about 25-30 MPH and hit it pretty good, if your engine revs and speed gradually picks up, I would say the clutch is slipping. I don't know what be the best clutch for that HP.

I wish there was a fullproof way to check for sure, because I dont really wanan dish out 800 bucks for a clutch+install if I dont need one...not yet at least.
Anyone else have a valid suggestion?

See, I tried that, but it seems as if it doesnt accelerate as fast as usual, but then again, I may just have gotten use to the power of the car, so now it seems slower.

I 4th gear, on a straight level road, at say 1,400 RPM, mash the throttle. You will know if it is slipping. The RPM's will increase drastically compared to your accelerated ground speed. Clear your mind not to confuse this with pinging or bogging (lugging) the engine at such low speed. I think that you would know if it was the clutch.
