You have long tubes? If so, I don't know how in the hell you pulled it off. The K member had to come out to get the combo out the top on mine.

Yeah i have lts. I was told it was not possible haha. It honestly came right out for me though. I guess i lucked out haha. I was dreading haveing to pull the trans and the lts off but i started picking the motor up so i could get to the header bolts and it looked like i had enough clearance so i just kept going i had one of my buddys guideing the steering shaft through the headers and one other person just checkin for clearance. We were all like wtf? it just came right out. SAme deal on the install.

I took the steering shaft off on mine. I was hitting on the passenger side of the K member and the drivers side LT was hitting the motor mount perch. No way of moving it. Me and my dad tried for a solid hour to get the damned thing out and couldn't do it.

My clutch fork and throwout bearing were shot to hell. Plus I was getting some smoke on startup, so I am going to do something about that. I haven't decided what to do yet. I am seriously contemplating a PI 5.4L. At bare minimum a PI swap is going back in.

Yep. They hit the K member on the passenger side and the motor mount on the drivers side. That other guy must have an aftermarket K member and doesn't know it.
