Default Getting close to completing my DOHC swap

I am just about finished with a DOHC Cobra motor swap into a 98 GT. I am going to be using my stock computer and harness and have it tuned.

I am planning on buying a turbo kit with my next paycheck. Will I be able to start the engine being a DOHC turbo on a SOHC stock ECU? I know I need to get it tuned, but can I start it to test and make sure it is running right with no leaks before getting it programmed?

I do have a diablosport predator... Should I adjust any settings myself before starting?

Please advise.

Thanks,
Mike

Good to know...

I am in the process of removing my butterflies and welding the holes, so the IMRC wont be an issue for me.

Be careful welding the holes you are taking a chance of warping the IMRC plate. That is why most people use a really good epoxy

You can buy IMRC delete plates. They are the same dimensions as stock IMRC's but have no plates in them. Something to look into price wise and risk of warping the stock ones.

So how sad is it that I had no clue wtf IMRC's were until I googled it and found a "how-to" on cleaning them over at modded mustangs...I guess I need to read up on 4v's...

Like my dad always says...the more things you have the more can go wrong. They are good when they work...but when they leak or stick closed/open they suck.

I would have went with the deletes on my Mark8 but not for that price and it was a DD so there was no performance mods to offset the loss in low end tq if I put them in.
