cam headache

Why are you wanting cams that have a rough idle? Something with a rough idle is more than likely going to have a rpm band that is out of what the stock block can handle, rendering it pointless to put a cam in that size.
Search around the forum here. Lots of recent cam threads.
Since you don't want to upgrade heads or "all that ****" you will want to stick to a cam that has a lift of no higher than .550", anything over 6500rpm you will need new springs and if you run a lot of boost, if any, you will want new springs. That being said the suggested cams from the person above won't work.
Check out www.modularheadshop.com and read what Nick (the owner) has said about each cam, read the specs and determine what is right for you.

Buy a cam just for the sound is the wrong answer. Any cam you want since you have a stock engine will not give you the sound your looking for. If you want that muscle car sound then you have to build a muscle car.
