that article must of been talking about fulll boost.

my 3.33" started making boost at around 2500 rpms, whereas my 3.6" pulley starts to make bost around 3k

If it's the 5.0 article about their F1a fed 2v, forget everything they said, that articles basically worthless. They have far too big of a pulley on there for what that blower is meant for.

Hey Oxford, what size pulley do you have, to make so much boost. 23 lbs. is a lot. Do you think my car, with the Cobra shortblock, Cobra crank, and forged internals could handle 23lbs of boost/ I would have her retuned, of course.
Thanks

Ox would know better than me, but I would think you're shortblock should be fine, but you're fuel system's really going to limit you there.

I was running 23lbs of boost on 93 octane and meth injection.

@piledriver I ran a 2.8 s/c pulley and a 10% overdrive crank pulley. I had to run an 8 rib setup and upgrade the tensioner. Yes your engine will handle it but you will need meth and your fuel system wont even come close.

Thank you, yeah I thought I'd have to get into the fuel system somewhat, maybe 60 lb or more injectors, what else would I need? I have another fuel pump in the garage, I think it's from a Focus, but that probably wouldn't cut it.

For that kind of power you would need either a triple pump setup with gt40 pumps or a return style system with a big external pump. I would switch to return style since fuel will start to cook in the rails at that level on a returnless.
