Those who have the mgw shifter, and a 3650 tranny, did u take the stop bolts out?

I looked at a thread on here abot it and everyone was saying the 3650 doesnt need the stop bolts on it. This true? also im abot 75% sure my tranny is 3650. How do u know for sure?

2004 GTs had the Tremic 3650 stock, so you should be rockin that. If you wanna be sure, look at the driver's door for the sticker, and if it has a K under TR, you've got the 3650.
