Default Popping noise in engine (video included)

Ok I have finally got my stang finished from close to a yrs worth of mods, and paint. I did the complete pi swap with ported heads, and I added the bbk shorty headers, x-pipe flow master exhaust, and the bbk throttle body, cold air filter and well basically any other decent bolt-on or mod I could find.

Now everything is together and running pretty good but but I am having a popping noise, for example if the car is idle and I give it gas as I push down on the pedal all is fine, but when I release pressure on the gas that is when I hear this loud metallic sounding pop. Sometimes it's just one pop sometimes 2, also it is not idling correctly and, I the engine has a ticking noise possibly a lifter? Thank you for any suggestions. Sorry the video is shaky in parts I just threw something together for everyone to hear.

Sounds like an exhaust leak, and a rocker maybe. Do you have cams, are they degreed correctly? The clunks sound like bad news to me.

Hi no I did not degree the cams, I think the ticking noise may be a lifter, or a rocker, but I am not for sure. Thank you

sounds like a knock to me, not a pop.

does it increase w/ rpm? (like 800 rpm and give it gas to 1000 RPM)

Hi no it only makes the knock/popping sound between first and second while driving, or in idle after giving it gas. It only makes the popping/knocking sound when I let off the gas not while I am giving it gas. Thank you

Thank you for your reply I will be checking this tomorrow. It very well possibly could be the head shop put everything else on wrong so this very well could be a possibility. If you don't mind me asking which noise are you referring to the ticking, popping, or just the whole thing in general.
Thank you

If you just installed the cams on that car its normal if you didnt lube it up and all. Mine did it for several hunder miles and the noise went away once everything got lubricated.
