X-Pipe Help/Advice
So i finally got my x-pipe on this past weekend. I ran into a problem though. I was not able to remove the old studs on the drivers side and had to rig it so that it was semi bolted to the downpipe of the header, not making a proper seal. So, obviously I could smell exhaust gases, but it did not trip an engine light. So i then took it to a garage to finish it up since I did not have the right tools. Now I did not get a chance to look under the car yet, but my SES light is on now. I dont smell exhaust but something else which I think is fuel. So I read the error code with my X3 and it was P0174, system to lean. I believe it was SB2 also, referring to an O2 sensor I think. Is this a common occurence after a new x pipe install, or did the garage F something up.
I already have BamaChips getting me an updated tuned with all my new parts since I only had a tune for a stock car, so would this tune essentially fix the lean condition?
Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any help.

P0174 (click here for more about this) is common when there is an exhaust leak--it is a lean code for bank 2 which is also where you had the problem.
Reset it and see if it comes back...

Ok I'll try that. I'm gonna get it back on the lift and look at it again. Only thing is the smell before it went to to garage smelt like exhaust gas. Now it actually smells like fuel. So I don't know if that means something or not. But I'll try the reset and hope maybe the new tunes do something if it's not a leak.
