Supercharged GT has no power??
I've searched and couldn't find an existing thread that related to my problem. So here it goes...Ive got a 2000 GT with a series II Saleen supercharger. A couple days ago it was throwing a cam sensor code. So I got the sensor and installed it. When I was installing it I noticed the cable going from the alternator into the wiring harness was rubbing against a pulley and the pulley chewed through the cable. Only like a couple threads holding it together. So I cut the cable and made two fresh ends and twisted all the wires together and wrapped it up just to get me through a couple days until I can get a new cable. So I thought everything was good connected the battery cables and the car was dead. Had a friend give me a jump and it started right up. Sounded good, idled good. So I put it in gear to go for a spin and take off. And there is no power. Lights start blinking, anti theft and ABS light blink. And when I give it gas it will bog down. I was barely able to drive down the street. Made it back to my house. Died right when I pulled up. Wouldn't start back. Accessory wouldn't even work. Jumped it again when in neutral it revs fine. Tested the alternator and battery and both were good. Checked visible fuses and they were good. I'm stumped. Any advise or help would be great!!

well camshaft position sensor code is normally triggered by an alternator with bad diodes. when the diodes go you get EMI with the CPS. you havent been able to drive the car long enough to tell if the code will come back on or not.
since the car wont stay running, i would venture to say that either your alternator is bad, or you have a loose cable somewhere on your alternator/battery.
double check the repair job you did too.

Most auto stores will test your alternator for free. Bring it in and see what they say to start.
Second, replace the cable, or repair it properly. The twisted ends might be getting a poor connection causing issues. Vibrations tend to undo twisted cables, so either use butt connectors, or some solder and some heat shrink tubing to do it properly.
