Ok so I was driving the other day and check engine light comes on, then starts flashing. I get it home put the computer on it, p0340 and p1000 and the codes I have. I search the forums and see what all you guys have to say before asking ?s. But I have replaced the cam sensor and the alt, the my ac compressor locks up breaks my belt so that is replaced as well. But the car is still skipping and when I clear the code it comes right back. What else could it be guys? Thanks for the help

 

Here's is what the shop manual says about P0340, it could be a problem in the wiring harness; short, open, damaged, etc.

P1000 means that the OBD2 system "readiness" tests are not complete.

 

So maybe a broken wire on the plug. Ok! Thanks for that advice. How do I fix the obd2 readiness test??

 

Drive the car until all the emissions tests are complete...
