the hose from the Thermostat to the radiator was cold. I could hear water churning with the engine on, churning on the resivour. I think the car is getting looked at today my mom wanted to get it fixed as a Christmas gift since she inst getting me anything else.

Before this I had an issue with over heating as well. When at idle the car would over heat, when in motion it seemed fine. I took the thermostat out this summer to increase allowable time to sit at idle without getting hot. someone said the electric fan most likely wasn't coming on when the car got hot enough, I can confirm the fan does come on. So that issue was never resolved either.

even with the thermostat out I had some low level heat in the car, but now there is NONE even when the car is HOT.

Inspect the radiator very close....when the vehicle is in motion and it over heats its usually a restricting radiator. If the car over heats at idle then its most likely the radiator fan not coming on. Since you stated the fan indeed works I'm willing to bet that there is restriction in the radiator

ok so today I had some day light to work with. I took the top hose off and filled the reservoir up with 50/50. It bubbles up and uncloged something. Put the hose back on and everything seems to work now; good circulation. All thats left is to put a new thermostat in so i can get some HEAT.

my coolant is always vomit orange. I guess thats rust. Any thing i need to do about that? Its been flushed twice.
