Any type of ceramic pads are great. Hawks are my favorite and they're right next to BBS.

i looked at my pads on my car and they have about 1/2 inch left. so i dont know if they have bene replaced or not but what could be the problem? should i get the rotors turned? my car also makes a wierd squeeky noise in the driver side rear. any ideas to what it could be?
