i hydrolocked a 97 ford mustang v8 4.6 gt and i need a new motor i want to know if a 2000 4.6 gt will work in it
i know the tranny will fit but im not sure about anything else or if it will work in the first place plz help much appreciated

 

Any 4.6 will drop in, if you have the complete engine harness and ecu its a pretty straight forward swap, the newer motor has coil over plug setup instead of the coil packs.

 

so the coil over plug wont have any problems will it

 

anyone know where i can get a motor for a 97 gt ???

or something that will bult up to a 97 4.6 gt
