Default Engine build up

I posted this in the svt forum and recieved no responses, so I'm hoping I get better results here.

I am planning on beefing up my engine to around 600hp. I don't plan on having this done over night. So I want to do this right. What engine and drivetrain internals and components do I need for the car to support that much power without having issues? Money is technically no issue since this project will take a few years.

Buy a forged block. I would go with a MMR 900 block. That's the route I'm going and the best thing you can put it on layaway. I'm putting mines on layaway this May and hope to have it out by years end....

I'm looking in to it and these mmr blocks look bad @$$. The prices are not what I figured they would be (they are actually affordable). What website are you going through to get yours?

don't listen to bladerunner he's an idiot and has no experience with any motor related things, he picks one shop/site that he has no clue about and tells everyone to go there.

the MMR shortblocks are great i know a few friends who have had great luck with them. if i wouldn't have been so quick to get my motor built i would have went with the mmr 900.
